The US President Joe Biden's visit to Japan on Sunday, May 22, the Japan-US Summit Talks on Monday and the QUAD meeting between Japan, the US, Australia, and India on Tuesday are imperialist war conferences for escalation of the war in Ukraine and preparation of an aggressive war on China.

Stop Japan's entry into the war!

US imperialism is the main party to the war in Ukraine. Openly aiming to "weaken Russia," the US gives real time intelligence of the Russian forces to the Ukrainian military, trains its troops, and delivers heavy weapons. On April 28, Joe Biden asked Congress for $33 billion to fund additional military and other aids to Ukraine, which is five times larger than Ukraine's $6 billion military budget in 2021. On May 9, he signed the Lend-Lease Bill into law, reminiscent of the Lend Lease Act of 1941--the United States' de facto entry into World War II. Now, Biden was authorized thereby to deliver any weapons at his disposal to the East European theater. The United States is further heightening risk of WWIII--a nuclear war.

Japanese imperialism, the Kishida government, has also imposed sanctions including expulsion of Russian diplomats and ban on Russian oil import. In addition, it provided helmets and body armors to Ukraine and sent Self-Defense Forces' aircraft to its neighboring countries. He will also attend the NATO summit in Spain in late June. Japanese imperialism has virtually joined the war in Ukraine.

The Japan-U.S. summit meeting is a place to make a commitment to militarily crush Russia. It is a war conference that pours gasoline on the crisis which leads to World War III--a nuclear war.

The main objective of the Japan-US summit is to tighten the encirclement of China and strengthen readiness for a new war. The aim of the next day's Quad summit talk is pressuring India, which is reluctant to sanction Russia, into the encirclement of China and clarifying Quad's purpose--military alliance for an aggressive war on China. The chief purpose of the US's war in Ukraine and Japan's de facto entry into it is an intimidation of Chinese Stalinism and building up of war readiness against China through escalation of the Ukraine war. In particular, by making the Nansei Islands into forward bases, they scheme to make whole of Japan into sortie bases for an aggressive war on China and to put the troops of the Self-Defense Forces on the front line of the battlefield.

Meanwhile, former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and the ruling Liberal Democratic Party said that they should include "attack of the enemy nerve center" in their planned "enemy-base attack capabilities" and double Japan's military budget to 11 trillion yen--third largest in the world. Such military buildup is apparently meant to launch an aggressive war on China.

Japan-U.S. Security Alliance has been a bloody bandits' alliance, under which massive massacres were committed in wars in Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, and many other countries for the US imperialist world domination. Japanese imperialism has provided military bases for the U.S. forces in many areas of the country, including Okinawa, and strengthened the SDF through the Japan-U.S. Security Alliance. However, a mere extension of such US-Japan cooperation is no longer effective for a war on China. Now Japanese imperialism itself with, the SDF troops is to enter kill-or-be-killed battles for the first time since World War II. This development will turn into World War III, a nuclear war that will bring the end of humanity.

To fight the Japan-U.S. Summit and the Quad summit, a historical turning point, let's raise our slogans:

"Stop the Ukraine War Now!"

"Prevent US-Japanese War on China!"

"Remove US Military Base in Okinawa--Smash Japan-US Security Alliance; Overthrow Japanese Imperialism!"

Under this banner, rise up from all over the country to the anti-war demonstration of anger!

War conferences of imperialist robbers

The Ukrainian war is in deed a war between the US- NATO imperialists and Russia. A war on China would turn into a world war, dividing the whole world between US and Japanese imperialism on one side and Chinese Stalinism on the other side. However, underneath such war crisis lies the fundamental confrontation--the class antagonism between <the working class and people all around the world> and <the U.S., Japan and other imperialist countries, the remaining Stalinist country, China, and the former Stalinist country, Russia>. Workers of the world must not fight against workers in other countries. We, working class, must fight against US imperialism, Joe Biden, Japanese imperialism, Fumio Kishida, former Stalinist country, Vladimir Putin, and the remaining Stalinist country, Xi Jinping.

The wars on Ukraine and China are wars between ruling classes to maintain and strengthen their power for the defense and expansion of their interests over the market, resources, spheres of influence etc.

In particular, precipitating decline of US imperialism, which has been an absolute hegemonic power and played pivotal role in the post-WWII world system, is now struggling to sustain its ruining world dominance. That is the root cause of its rush toward a war on China and another world war.

Workers of the world have nothing to gain from such wars. Ruling class, robbers, however, are urging workers to kill each other.

Workers must expose the true intention of rulers' justification of war as "self-defense" and stop participation of their own country in war and every and any war policy of their own country.

Since the beginning of the Ukraine war, the media has fanned the flames of nationalism and xenophobia, using words such as "fatherland", "territory", "nation", "nationality", "sovereignty", etc. and conceal class antagonism between the working class and the capitalist class as though the interests of both classes were identical. The worst lieutenant of imperialism is Kazuo Shii, chair of the Japanese Communist Party, who gave enthusiastic praise to Zelensky's virtual speech at the Japanese Parliament, "I felt his strong determination to protect his fatherland."

Let it be clear. The class antagonism between the capitalist and working classes is irreconcilable.

Let us re-emphasize the Marxist very principle, "workers have no borders," "workers have no country," "workers of all countries, unite!" and organize a strong movement to end the Ukraine war!

The capitalists who exploit workers in the workplace and making money through privatization and rationalization (streamlining), and the government which mobilize workers for the war are one and the same. Organize a class struggle labor movement from the workplace! Organize unions which fight at the forefront of anti-war movement!

Let ruling classes of the world tremble!

World War I was brought to an end by the Russian Revolution of 1917. The Russian workers defeated their own government and showed that capitalism was not an eternal system but was to be necessarily overthrown by working class.

The Russian revolution has opened up the "period of world historical transition from capitalism to socialism", which lies as key factor of the world history since then in spite of Stalinist deformation into a counter-revolutionary system, "socialism one country", and the workers have been rising up to defeat capitalism, imperialism, all over the world. During the Ukraine war, the workers are fighting to stop military cargo in Italy, Belarus, Greece, and other countries. It is the working class that is forced to kill or to be killed. But working class is the very class which has ability to stop war and overthrow imperialist system, the root cause of war. Now, the future of the human history is determined by working class's decision: which way to go in the face of the crisis of WWIII, a nuclear war. The only way for the creation of a society without exploitation, plunder, repression, and war is anti-imperialist, anti-Stalinist revolution by the workers of the world.

In Japanese class struggle, three unions, Kan-Nama (Solidarity Union of Japan Construction and Transport Workers Kansai Area Branch), Minato-Godo (Metal and Machinery Workers' Union in Osaka) and Doro-Chiba (National Railway Motive Power Union of Chiba), have been successfully fighting against neo-liberalism, terminal stage imperialism. The coalition of the three unions has forged international workers' solidarity with labor movements of countries including South Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the United States, Germany, Italy, Turkey and Brazil. The actuality of anti-imperialism and anti-Stalinist world revolution is shown in such efforts.

Workers around the world are paying close attention to the struggle of the workers in Japan. The rally and demonstration on May 22 are vital.
